About eBunda

Derived from the Malay word ‘ibunda’ (mother)

eBunda was launched by BAG Networks on 19 February 2010 as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programmes, in line with women development initiatives in striving towards Brunei’s Vision 2035.

The creation of eBunda was a result of feedback received from an informal focus group for Women in Business held on 23 October 2009, which was intended to enable women in Brunei to have more opportunities through continuous learning and entrepreneurship, especially while taking career breaks in order to take care of their children and elderly family members.

Today eBunda continues to champion awareness on issues which are important to women such as family, health, business, finance, career, education and affirmative actions in influencing positive contributions to Brunei.
